Woke up Sunday morning with a really tight chest. I gave myself a breathing treatment, I keep medicine and a breathing machine close at all times, I never know when I’m gonna have an attack. Went to the Dr first thing Monday morning, got a shot and 2 prescriptions. I am already feeling a bit better today, Tuesday, the very next day. Yeah… if I had not gone at first onset I probably would have gotten much sicker.
Today, we woke up to a cloudy sky. By noon it was thundering with a light rain. Sounds like a good day to write a blog and catch up on Facebook. Add in some more of my great recipes on Debi’s RVCooking and Ed’s working on his great RVers Helping RVers site. Me on this site, we travel to great places and do a lot of great fun things… Like in the Amana Colonies for instance, where we found Lilly Tomlin’s famous rocking chair.
The Amana Colony is seven villages on 26,000 acres (11,000 ha) located in Iowa County in east-central Iowa, United States: Amana (or Main Amana), East Amana, High Amana, Middle Amana, South Amana, West Amana, and Homestead. The villages were built and settled by German Pietists, who were persecuted in their homeland by the German state government and the Lutheran Church. Calling themselves the Community of True Inspiration (German: Die Gemeinde der wahren Inspiration), they first settled in New York near Buffalo in what is now the Town of West Seneca. However, seeking more isolated surroundings, they moved to Iowa (near present-day Iowa City) in 1856. They lived a communal life until the mid-1930s.
Oswald’s Bear Ranch in upper Michigan, where we got to hold and Feed a REAL LIVE Bear cub. We are there with our friends Janice and Rick Binns. We traveled with them for about 8 months. It was AWESOME!!!! We have not seen them since October 2016, I do love and miss them so. They are headed to Alaska right now BUT we will see them for Christmas 2017 in Florida.
Please subscribe to follow us here and on the other sites to stay informed, ask questions and get answers PDQ. We would really love for you to follow along with us. I think you will be very happy you did.
We will be going to Goose Island in June with Tammy and Chuck and then to Matagorda Bay in October with all the family. Thanksgiving in Tennessee and Christmas and New Years in Florida. You won’t want to miss out on anything now or in between these travels.
Take a look over on Debi’s RV Cooking we’re having Cajun Blackened Fish and all the trimmings… YUMMY
Until later… Safe Travels and Happy Trails!
