Ed and I went out to dinner with Barbara Spade, a long time friend, who is a ranger here at Thousand Trails Colorado River Columbus TX. We first met Barbara at TTLake Conroe when we joined FMCA Conroe Chapter. We had a great visit over dinner at Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant.
We love Thousand Trails, we could NOT full time without it. We have traveled through 44 states in the past 3 years and have saved thousands of dollars in camping fees. Our first trip out was to California, we were there for 8 months and went from park to park starting at TT Pio Pico and traveling north all the way to Sacramento stopping at all parks in between. We saved over $17,000 which left more money for us to do all the great things we wanted to do, like exploring. There’s Yosemite National Park and Calaveras Big Tree State Park. And much much more… The west coast offers so much history, the Gold Rush, Sutter’s Mill and pioneer travelers were amazing. We could’ve spent another year out there and still have not seen everything. We are going back next year and will try to hit all the wonderful places we missed.
Here are just a few pictures some of our California Adventures…
I hope you enjoy the pictures, these adventures are just a drop in the bucket…
Until next time. Safe Travels and Happy Trails!
